At Bathroom Craft, we have over 30 years' experience designing and installing mobility bathrooms, accessible bathrooms and specialist showering solutions throughout Aylesbury and Buckinghamshire.
We understand that a bathroom needs to be more than just attractive. For anyone with reduced mobility, a disability or changing mobility needs, the right bathroom design can make everyday routines considerably easier, safer and more comfortable.
Whether you need a simple walk-in shower, improved access to an existing bathroom or a complete accessible wet room, our experienced team can design and install a solution around your individual requirements.
We have provided mobility solutions for organisations and individuals including the National Spinal Injuries Centre (NSIC) at Stoke Mandeville, the Multiple Sclerosis Society at Halton and charities supporting older people.
Every mobility requirement is different, which is why we provide a bespoke service rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.
Depending on your needs and the available space, we can provide:
We can also incorporate an accessible bathroom or wet room into a new extension or adapted area of your home, providing a complete design and installation service.
A walk-in shower can be an excellent solution where stepping over the side of a conventional bath or shower tray has become difficult.
We can design your showering area to provide easier access, comfortable movement and practical day-to-day use. Where appropriate, we can create a level-access or wet-room-style showering area to accommodate wheelchair users and people who require additional assistance.
The design can incorporate suitable shower controls, seating, support rails and other features according to your individual requirements.
A wet room can provide an attractive and practical solution for people with mobility difficulties.
Rather than having to negotiate a conventional shower enclosure or raised shower tray, a suitably designed wet room can provide a spacious, open showering area with easier access.
Bathroom Craft can undertake all aspects of the work, including plumbing, drainage, floor preparation, tanking, tiling, electrical work and associated building alterations.
Where additional space is required, we can also look at adapting the existing layout or incorporating the bathroom into an extension.
As mobility changes, a bathroom that was once perfectly suitable can become difficult or unsafe to use.
Our aim is to create a bathroom that gives you greater independence, comfort and confidence while still looking like a well-designed modern bathroom.
We can discuss your particular circumstances and recommend practical adaptations based on the space available and how you need to use the bathroom.
From a straightforward shower conversion to a completely redesigned accessible bathroom, we can manage the project from initial design through to installation.
Bathroom Craft is a family-run bathroom design and installation company based in Weston Turville, Aylesbury
With more than 30 years' experience, we provide a direct design, supply and installation service without the expense of a traditional high-street showroom or sales team.
Our installation specialists have extensive construction experience, allowing us to undertake not only bathroom fitting but also the associated plumbing, electrical, tiling, plastering, carpentry and building work that may be required for a specialist mobility bathroom.
This means you can deal with one experienced team throughout your project.
If you are having qualifying mobility or disability-related work carried out, you may be entitled to VAT relief.
Bathroom Craft can provide the relevant paperwork and guidance for VAT exemption or relief where the work qualifies under the applicable rules.
We recommend discussing your individual circumstances with us before work begins so that we can help you understand what may apply to your project.
If you or a family member is finding the existing bathroom increasingly difficult to use, we can help you explore the options.
Whether you are looking for a walk-in shower, accessible wet room, wheelchair-friendly bathroom or a complete mobility bathroom conversion, Bathroom Craft can design a practical solution around your needs.
